Nan has been ill for 3 months, told she may have cancer, lost her scan, lost her blood and urine results twice, refused to give her a doctor’s appointment, the Dr and Nurse practitioner prescribed her drugs, that now when rushed in to hospital, the doctors there were furious that she has been prescribed drugs that could of had an adverse reaction to her blood thinners and her beta blockers, that she had taken. I’m gonna take this awful practise to the cleaners, believe me. Already contacted two lawyers.
No full time doctors, just Locums, so you get no contiuity of care, and that is IF you can ever get an appt! if you're sick ,you have to drag yourself out of bed at 8am, to call on redial for over 50 mins to even get through, This mornings attempt, for 3 members of the family to get an appt, ended with a booked appt in march for me, so over 3 weeks AFTER I need to actually see them, and for the children, one with painful swollen fingers, no one is going to see him- i have to send some pics through for them to peruse and then reply with the standard "We're not sure what's causing that, but keep an eye on it and let us know if its still there in x amount of time!" Absolute SHOCKING SERVICE and a disgrace to the NHS. Over the last two years, the only time I have received any help from a doctor, was when i gave up and paid privately to see someone outside of the NHS. I have spent over £1000 on appts and medication over the last two years, because this clinic is beyond functional! I'm so sick of it!
I have had some good service here over the years from medical and admin staff....however something must be done about the phone system. In this day and age call queuing and answering systems are cheap and easily installed. Gyffin surgery needs one urgently.
Shocking service can never get through & when I do no phone call consultations available, patients need to be seen face to face, be easier to get my medication online, as they don't follow up blood pressure or blood tests, have booked my flu jab at my local pharmacy as I did last year.
Definitely avoid. The doctors and nurses will do more harm than good. Not a rational, nor an educated person who works here. Avoid them. Seriously.
Lost my prescription for blood pressure tablets haven't had any for days. Won't answer the phone either. Incompetent staff !
Never answer phone. Left work to pick up prescription. It’s not here. Been on hold 25 mins, was supposedly 11th caller, but that was after numerous attempts to call just resulted in a busy signal followed by disconnection. Last time I rang I was 18th caller for 1h27m before getting disconnected.
Don’t bother phoning they will never answer and if you do get through they’ll just say they were on the phone... you can’t have been on the phone for 8 hours
Staff and medics very friendly and cooperative.
Just a terrible surgery..
