We used this park for one night at very short notice. The owners were very accommodating, even going above and beyond for us by using their own vehicle to help move our caravan when my partner was having problems. The toilet and shower facilities are the best i've seen so far on our travels and kept impeccably clean. Thanks again for your help

We have just returned from a camping trip at Meadowview and couldn't wait to leave a review. As a single dad with young children I couldn't have felt more welcome. Gary and Sue were delightful hosts and the open invitation of 'pitch where you want' was great. The site is sloping so we picked a spot, with electric, at the top of the hill. The views were lovely. The toilets cum showers were excellent, clean and the best I've ever experienced on a camp site anywhere. There is no formal play area for children but with loads of open field there was no shortage of space for ball games and bikes. There are a good supply of electric hookups and water points in the camping field, the only thing missing were bins which involves a walk outside the site entrance. Altogether a lovely little site and we'll definitely return.

Positives:- We chose this site as it was the most convenient for the A21 and to visit family and though there is a lot of traffic noise we were able to sleep well. The showers and toilet block were the cleanest we have ever been to and must have been cleaned about 4 times a day. Brilliant. Tawney Owls and foxes can be heard at night from the nearby woods. Short wooded track for dog walk and able to walk dog on site. Negatives:- We stayed from the 5th October for a week and after a wet summer. The site is expensive for what it offers and we had an insipid welcome which was a shame as we had been travelling 8 hours from Cornwall and a warm welcome would have been nice. The site is terraced and the touring pitch we had was on the lower field. The hard standings are very narrow, the width of our small caravan and are of gravel. Levelling blocks are needed. Our caravan porch awning had to be pitched on the grass alongside of the gravel hard standing (as did all the pitches on this side of the field). The grass just covered mud, which was then trampled into the caravan along with the gravel sticking to soles of shoes. Thankfully there is a big garden centre the other side of the A21 so we were able to purchase an extra tarpaulin for a ground sheet and a coconut fibre doormat which we put in the porch. In all our years of touring we have never had found this situation before as other sites had better drainage.. Also the water pressure was pathetic but conveniently at the rear of our pitch. On returning home it was a hard job cleaning the awning and equipment which then had to be dried out before storing. Will not return to this site again.

Very friendly hosts, clean and tidy site. No play area so for young children it could be a little boring. Don't chase you off on your leaving day either though best to ask first.
