If you are a regular here you get a nice friendly smile and chat from the black gentleman behind the bar. If you arent a regular he has a face on him like a wet Monday morning. Also paid a £1 for glass of diet coke. Next evening I was charged mysteriously £1.30 for exactly the same thing. Go elsewhere
You do not need to go into Liverpool if you live near here. Great staff and mix of customers, all ok . Good music, pool table, large Tvs, dance floor , clean. Sky Sports.
McGintys I would like to tell you is a GREAT local pub, and we don't get many local pubs now do we. So make the most of this place. the atmosphere on a sat and sun is great, the entertainment is great and on a sunday is karaoke, music videos, not the screaming ones tamla motown, frank, dino act and not forgetting the charts, 'Mark' the DJ/compare does a great job and he's a cool singer. The food's great and the people who go in there are really friendly. its the place to be if you want to be entertained, last Sunday they had a fab singer who sang all the old soul stuff of the 80s and 90s - brilliant! his name is 'Alfie' so look out for him....he on every 3rd sunday. so there's lots going on so go and try it for yourself. Great for a party of people as well as they make you so welcome.

Great bar me and me dad go here it brings the true irish out of ya, me great great grand father was Fionn McCool the giant who liked to fight, whenever me dad and I feel like getting fluthered we come here the bar fights are fun aye when me and me girlfriend were walking by she said "this bar doesn't look friendly" I stared at her "Bullocks" we've been going there ever since
They don't serve food and have signs up saying you can't take food into the pub.
Havnt been here for a while, but still a nice place, different people running it,and still serving a good pint with a friendly service.
Great pub good atmosphere and the staff were very welcoming
Went there for a funeral pub nice clean buffet good prices pricey wouldn't ave has my local but overall ok
