Went to the wedding fayre. It was very busy but plenty of stalls and people to talk to. The food was very expensive though which was a downer.
Rainton never disappoint. Grinchmas was the best. Didn't stop laughing. Kids had a great tike helping loopy lou ooppss I mean Cindy lou help the grinch
Booked tickets online for my kids and wife to go ice skating. Arrived just before 11 and the car park was full!! Thankfully, just next door to their carpark is another car park shopping/undustrial park with free spaces. Entrance is free. There is a large outdoors open air ice rink that is covered so despite the light rain we stayed dry. Tickets for adults cost £10.50 while kids pay £8.50. We had to get the skate aids for the kids which came with an additional charge of £6 per child, so for 3 people we paid £39.50 for less than an hour of skating . Kids enjoyed the rides way more than the skating. Mist rides cost £2.50 or £3. You pay cash on the each ride but they also accept cards. You can also visit theFestive Grotto to see Santa but that is of course an additional charge. There are several stalls that serve hot drinks, doughnuts, burgers etc. Kids had fun but be prepared to spend a lot while you are there... but Xmas is coming and we spoil our kids, don't we? Enjoy yall
Good venue for the Xmas panto. Apart from overflow car park potholes galore and big puddles when raining!
One of the better value winter Wonderlands with free entry and ice skating deals for £1. We visited the panto which wasn't for us more suited to younger kids. I would say it would be nice for kids under the age of 8. Parking was a bit of a nightmare on the side of the road.
We had a nice time seeing Grinchmas and Ice skating. Stuff where very helpful and friendly. Food was overpriced, and if you are vegetarian, there is only chips or vegetables noodles to choose from. Toilets where disgustingly dirty :
I booked tickets for my two daughters one who is 23 and one who is 10 for the kidz rave in December as part of their Christmas presents. From booking to attending was easy to do. On arrival it was easy to get to following directions. This place is also easy to get to via public transport links including the bus. I noticed a bus stop near by but don't know what bus it is as we travelled by car. There was a steward at the car park entrance but this was full but there are other places to park up around the event. The atmosphere was fantastic. Not too much for my youngest who is slightly sensitive to loud sounds. They both loved the kidz rave and are hoping to go back at easter time. The lighting and sound system was great. Not too loud and amazing lighting for a kidz rave. The uv paint dip was pretty cool they said. And the fair was good. I can't say much as I was not there this time but they enjoyed the experience very much and it was great for the sisters to spend quality time together at this special event creating great memories I'd recommend this event and place to anyone of all ages who is of the rave, festival and dance era and who wants to share a peice of it with there children, families and friends .
Food prices are a joke, £5 for a few frozen fries , £3 for a diet coke. The location is not very disabled accessible. I gave two Stars simply as the Santa Grotto Mr and Mrs Clause where fantastic with my children. I would return for the Grotto only.
Avoid. Just a dump with rides. No parking at all. Santa's grotto was rubbish. Not worth the money. No effort at all put into the walk through part. Quick few photos then in to see the worst santa you'll ever see. No personality, boring. Awkward. Then choose a pound shop toy that broke straight away.
My daughter and I watched the drifters, not only was the show excellent, but the venue was very good. We sat on round tables of our choice,,with good vision for the stage. The bar service was quick and efficient, with pleasant girls serving. The toilets were very clean ,and never busy. We had some food during the break, which was good ,again two pleasant ladies serving. I enjoyed my night and would go again to the arena any time again.
