Nice location for McDonald’s. Easy to get to. Ample parking space. Clean restaurant. It was quick service as I ordered on the screen. McDonald’s needs to do something about their collection screen. This is my second experience in different McDonald’s that the screen was not clear of the orders which were collected.
This chain concentrates too much on deliveries and pretty much ignores their normal customers - we ate inside rather than the drive thru last weekend. As a normal customer you queue here for a while and if you want anything additional - my tea was missing milk, you wait at the desk and the staff can see you but choose to just keep preparing for the likes of Deliveroo who are served as a priority! Pretty poor setup for a McDonalds and you've lost your whole company ethos at this store! . We have also visited the drive thru a few times and on every occasion our order has been incorrect and when we have complained to McDonalds via its website facility we didn't even receive a response! Regardless of who the customer is and how much you spend, you should make them to feel important, I wouldn't visit this store again!!
We ordered three hamburgers today, but only two were delivered, leaving out the mayo chicken. We are sad.
My local McD. Gets very busy. One lane to drive in and splits into 2 order lanes. Most people don't see this so only queue one side creating longer queues. Also blocks cars trying to either park up or get to the click and serve. Have got my order wrong 3-4 times missing fries, fillings wrong, wrong burger! - so I always check now before I drive off!
Placed an order threw the app, got to the restaurant within 10 mins and waited another 10 mins for my order. My milkshake was on the counter waiting for my food not to my knowledge and I should have clocked this before leaving the store. The milkshake is liquid. Very very poor management skills if the drinks are allowed to be made 15 mins before the food is served. Deliveroo/Uber eats etc are putting McDonald’s at breaking point. McDonald’s maybe needs separate restaurants to deal with the demand of deliveries. Who would want McDonald’s delivered in Morrisons carrier bag also which I just clocked numerous foreigners doing.
The service is always incredibly slow whether you go in store or order delivery. Food is always cold because they bag up the food and leave it on the side with nothing to keep it warm. Just ordered a delivery and the food has turned up stone cold and disgusting, won't be using this store anymore it's become a joke.
Just don't go!! Cold food, waiting at least half an hour, wrong order, dirty toilets that don't flush, disorganised. A burger with no burger - need I say anymore. Food waiting on the counters for 20 minutes or so. Money not well spent. Just don't bother, you'll wish you hadn't.
We went in to the store to order as the drive thru was closed. We got one wrong item with our order. We were given a bacon and egg mcmuffin instead of a bacon roll. My son couldn't eat it. He hates eggs and doesn't like the cheese. We had got home before opening the bag and so wasn't able to return it. Has taught me to check the order before I leave!
I think today has cemented my decision that McDonalds is a massive disappointed. I was planning on a KFC which always is delicious and top quality but the queue was huge there. Ordered a "Triple Quarter Pounder" but was served the bite sized burger in the picture. Minimal cheese. And the gherkin you see hanging out the side is all that was there in the burger. I ordered 3 large fries for myself and my parents but they gave me four and charged me for it. But I let that slide. However, the very low quality of this ordered deserved some recognition. Oh and it was all stone cold. I've been disappointed with McDonalds in the past but this has made my decision that I wont be going back again. KFC will definitely be getting my business from now on.
If I could give a minus star then I would. Food comes out stone cold time after time after time regardless of whether you go through the drive thru, click and serve or order inside. Don't bother going through the drive thru, they tell you to park up and they will bring it to your car. After about half an hour they bring it to your car stone cold. Defeats the point of the drive thru. Orders are always wrong. Literally got a cheese burger with no burger today after waiting 20 minutes for it. Had to drive home and heat it up in the microwave. I feel sorry for whoever orders on the delivery sites are food sits on the counter for well over 20 mins. Toilets were dirty and didn't flush. Everyone standing around waiting for at least half an hour. Heard someone who was waiting for table service say to their family 'oh i'll just go up and get it'. They'd clearly been waiting forever too. Terrible service in every aspect. Do not go here. Go to Alvis Retail park instead. At least you get the right order there if nothing else.
