The only sea fishing tackle shop left. Amble has closed, Berrick?? Nothing at Seahouses so this is it. But well worth the drive from budle bay. Friendly very helpful guys, no pomp down to earth blokes that don't chew on marbles like them in Alnwick.

Not sure about the ignorant and unfriendly. went into the shop for the first time 20th July experienced great banter and a laugh.Knowlagble staff who answered my questions and sorted my requests they have a superb range of coarse tackle look forward my next visit.
Very helpful and knowledgeable guys when I visited for the first time on Saturday. I'm new to fishing and will certainly be using McDermotts for all of my bait and supplies. Couldn't fault them at all.
