2 tills broken, a customer trying to post a letter at the post office. Another customer wanting to collect a paper with a voucher but was told 'the papers are here, but we havent put them on the system so you cant have one'. Me standing in line with a sandwich. I walked out with all the other customers after waiting for infinity. First customer is probably still trying to post a letter. Great shop if you have all day. The easter eggs are very reasonably priced.
Extremely poor and rude service from the lady who is in charge of the post office. I hVe been there three times lately. She has been extremely rude and unprofessional every single time a part from the fact that they are extremely slow. She should understand that customers do not really always know how things work to send stuff. It is, in fact, her job to help people understand the process. I have come to think she might have problem with me. We have decided we wont go there again.
I must say I was very impressed with how well they were implementing COVID precautions here. Two people in the shop at a time maximum, a one way system, disinfectant, a screen at the cash register, and an attendant who was wearing their mask properly, rather than just as a chin-warmer. I would say that others should come here and learn how to run their shops in a safe way, but I wouldn't want to overcrowd them! Other than that, it seemed like a fairly straightforward convenience store/post office.
Good selection of magazines and papers. Groceries are pretty expensive and the cash machine charges for withdrawals, but very friendly staff and ok for the basics.
A newsagent with so much more. Fantastic staff nothing is too much trouble.
