I arrived more than 10 minutes before the stated closing time but the whole shop was shut up, dark, with no one around. Either nobody has updated the closing times on both the front door and Google maps, or the shop/staff just leaves early.

Un happy always they dont have any bakers for break fastnI ask everyday from there staff for croissants they always say its out of stock

This store seems short on staff every time I’ve visited.  Also prices generally are on the high side, even on occasions they have been more expensive than the Waitrose store in the town!  If your prices were more competitive, I for one would certainly shop at The Co-op more!

Admittedly I visited just before closing time on a Sunday afternoon however I was struck by how sparsely stocked many parts of the store were. Fellow shoppers audibly expressed their frustration at their favourite items being out of stock. That being said I did find what I was looking for. The interior of the store is quite dated too. Reminds me of Tesco's from the 2000s.

Broken fridges/freezers for past 7-months, lack of food options because of it, the smaller co-op food shop down station road offers more and it’s a 1/4 of the size.
