Horrible staff make you feel like unwelcome NO help from them. Scared to ask anything. No smiles I just wanted to get out soon as. Used to be really good friendly staff in there. But now definitely not.
Made to feel like a thief, bought some clear tubing, elderly guy serves me, I asked for 3m, total value £4.50 he advises he will come to till with me to tell them how much I have...I replied " I can always tell them myself " I then get a look from him that basically suggested I would lie, didn't appreciate it really, and it would make it a lot easier if they just had a metre rule at the till then the cashier can just measure what length you have anyway...not a pleasant experience for me today Maxwell's Diy.
Excellent service & knowledgeable staff , bit dearer than elsewhere but by the time you travel that bit further it ends of costing the same , so if time is the problem I'd use maxwell DIY all the time .
Love this place staff are brilliant so friendly happy to help with any questions xx
