Although the exterior is in vital need of a clean-up and the toilets need a paint this is a pleasant restaurant. The waiters are a bit haphazard but friendly enough. Also the wait for food was considerable but when it came was delicious. Good portion sizes and very tasty.
Was very good food and the people were nice enough but they were very understaffed when we got there and so took a while for us to get our food. But apart from that I would recommend this place if you're looking for a lovely curry :
Food was fantastic but very very slow. Not alot of people in but 6 on our table. Food came out in drips and drabs to the point some had Finnished eating before other had even got their food.
Lovely Nepalese food. It was a surprise finding this restaurant in TAnsley and we're glad we stopped here. The prices are reasonable and the food we ate was good quality
The food at the Matlock Gurkha is faultless ,hot and very tasty. This place really does deserve to be on anyone's list to visit and should be judged on it's quality of food . Top nosh x Dotty
