Easy to park in a large car park,  excellent bus service into the city centre. Handy little kiosk at the bus stop doing reasonable priced food. Real chips and can drinks at a £1.

I recently used the Matford Park and Ride and was thoroughly impressed. The parking area is spacious and well-organized, making it easy to find a spot. The bus service is punctual, clean, and comfortable, with courteous drivers ensuring a pleasant ride into the city. The pricing is very reasonable, making it a cost-effective alternative to city center parking. Additionally, it’s conveniently located and eco-friendly. I highly recommend the Matford Park and Ride for a hassle-free and affordable travel option into the city.

Not my favourite park and ride for Exeter, it's always packed on weekdays but sparsely used on Saturday mornings so it's good for shopping visits. The waiting area has a coffee stall and small shelter and the route in takes you through matford trading estate and past the councils recycling site. The buses are single deck because of the low railway bridge en route and seem to be always packed, I'm often standing. I prefer the Honiton P&R site as its near the motorway and uses double deckers. Also the wait time from the city centre is longer than the Honiton ones.

It was closed on good Friday with no warning online or at the site. We had to rely on locals to catch a local service bus.

Good bus service with lots of buses going to city centre, onside cafe and toilets, friendly bus drivers
