After we decided to sell our car, I was dreading the process as I wasn't sure what it entailed but a friend said to try webuyanycar and I'm so glad we did. From completing the online form to locating the vehicle inspection centre to finalising the sale, the entire process was smooth and seamless. I particularly found Abs, the person who attended to us at the inspection centre very professional, he was courteous and gave an explanation each step of the way. If I ever have to sell a car again, or know someone who wants to sell, I would be very happy to use this service again and make a referral.
Wbac. Booked the car in on the Thursday. Dropped off on Friday. In and out in about 30mins tops. He was incredibly friendly, of course some value was deducted although that was expected as I didn’t add any damage to the car online. I think they were completely reasonable with both explaining this and the final sum agreed. Honestly couldn’t have been a better experience!
UPDATE. Des from the Customer Service Team promptly responded and addressed my concerns and will carry out the necessary training where required. Very impressed the the outcome. Thank you Des Find the staff rude and very unhelpful. I would recommend customer service training. I have been into the store 3 times and each time my experience has been awful, dealing with rude, unfriendly and incompetent staff.
The process was so easy and the price i got was what I was given online a few days earlier. I was very honest about the condition but expected to be knocked down in value so was pleasantly surprised. There was an issue with mileage discrepancy where my car had been MOTd 6 years ago with the wrong higher mileage but wbac sorted that out too because I had the original MOT paperwork with the correct mileage. Overall very impressed, hassle free and stress free. If the money comes through in 4 days as promised it will be perfect, let's see! If it doesn't, I'll update the post. The we buy any car contact I met was Abs who was very pleasant.
Very poor customer service from one sales lady. I am not going to mention her name. Very unhelpful - I would call her very rude and mean - definitely should not work in customer service/retail. I believe she assumed that I could not understand English so the way she was speaking to me was not right-I felt really offended. I have no plans of returning there.
Never 'too' busy in the aisles, but the checkouts are often a joke. 1-2 checkouts for a long forming queue, waiting to queue often takes longer than the actual shopping experience which is unfortunate.
The staff are absolutely awful in this store, I visit regularly and the same lady on the front tills who works very slowly despite a huge queue forming. I even offered to help her hang my returns back on the hangers to speed the process up, but she declined and then continued to hang up every item while I stood there rather than serving everyone in the huge queue and then hanging the clothes up. Or alternatively why not have a member of staff hanging up the returns and one person operating the till to speed everything up. It’s always the same and their attitude is terrible.
Very poor service today, I exchanged a shirt at the store over the weekend no problem. Today they took the shirt off me and refunded it.I didn’t want it refunded It clearly says on the receipt we can exchange it in store. Today they are telling me I can exchange shirts. Very miss leading online due to shirts having a front pockets and now today a very miss leading staff who are saying different things on different days and not exchanging clothes and then wouldn’t give me the shirts back as he refunded me them which takes 14 working days to get the money back when I didn’t bloody want a refund!!!!
First experience of this type of service. It was straightforward. Very helpful staff if anything not your fault but disappointed that Santander can't deal with faster payment, so if you have a Santander account be aware. Thank you for your helpful service.
This review isn't representative of the whole shop but of the service of ONE member of staff. I tried to return an item but was told the receipt I produced was not the correct part { it was the visa slip} I believe I left the other bit in the self service till. I didn't want a refund as I was going to buy other Items and wanted it taken from the balance. She was blunt and rude and could have explained company policy, it wasn't as if I expected cash back! I'm afraid Matalan that you then lost the sale, I was shocked and angry at her treatment. I must add you have one great member of staff, Adam ; who is friendly, polite and helpful. The lady in question could learn a lot from him.
