The Good: It's a pretty big masjid in good condition. Has upstairs and downstairs section Kept clean Has an active Muslim community The brothers are friendly and easy going The Bad: The Friday prayers Khutba are always in Urdu only. I don't attend the masjid on other days due to the language barrier, as it does feel alienating unless you're Pakistani or Indian.
Alhamdulillah. Went for Friday prayers while in Manchester. Perfect and warm. Friday prayers held in two separate sessions, probably to manage the community crowd.
Really good mosque. Clean and new. Well organised including parking during Friday prayers. Helpful staff/management.
Peaceful Masjid in the heart of Manchester. Car park available. Very clean and maintained wudu area. Comfortable prayer hall. May this mosque continue to contribute to the local society for many years to come.
While collecting my children from the old Trafford sports barn on the evening of the 26th January. 2 males were attempting to park on double yellow lines outside the mosque. They reversed and we’re about to hit my car, i bibbed my horn to make them aware they were about to reverse into me, their response was to verbally abuse me, use multiple expletives towards me and threaten to break my jaw. I am utterly appalled at this behaviour.
Mostly ppl from middle east. My 1st experient praying here. Not same like S'pore but to ONE God, Allah.
Alhumdulillah beautiful masjid. Would definitely visit again. Lovely to meet brothers praying salah before going to the game! Only issue is gates are a bit small for two cars to get in and out!
We went to watch a football match at Old Trafford and parked here as we wanted to pray our salah first. We were disappointed to find the masjid was closed at 12:15pm. We went to the match and then came back to combine our salah. Friendly with good facilities like one use towels to use after wudu etc. A nice, peaceful vibe.
Clean and spacious Masjid. Keep up the good work to everyone involved.
I feel somewhat harsh giving them a 3* review but this masjid isn't open all the time. Therefore for Manchester United followers who visit old Trafford it's not convenient. I was told by one of the workers in the masjid that they used to be open all the time but closed because someone they thought it was a football fan sole the money from the donations box. But for a chance meeting with him though. I wouldn't have been able to read my salah. And they weren't prompt in liebig the mosque either and had to come in through the back.
