They are doing unimaginable wonderful work. I honestly feel lucky that I got my kids enrolled in this masjid. I bought a house in Manchester and I tried my best to arrange a pick and drop for my son for this madrassha. However, I could not get any optuon. In the end, I decided not to move into that house. I worked relentlessly to teach my son to enjoy Quran. But the biggest thing they put is love of Quran.nnIn the UK, having this masjid is a biggest blessing. At one point, I was thinking to move to Saudia Arabia for seeing the situation here. But having this masjid, we are actually thinking to make this country our home. I think of people who developed this masjid and perhaps saved many from going astray.nnI would also like to contribute for its improvement. Having observed the organisation a I've noticed one significant shortcoming here: they start Hifz when children are in Year 5 or 6. At this pace, by the time they complete their memorisation usually it takes around 3 years to memorise, they'll be in the midst of their GCSEs and won't have time to lead Taraweeh. Without leading Taraweeh, the Hifz tends to fade within a year, leaving only basic Nazrah. For this reason, I believe they should begin when children are in Year 4, allowing them to finish by Year 6 or Year 7 at the latest. Then they would have a chance to lead taraveh in Year 8 and it would be easy afterwards to go little bit slow in their GCSEs in Ramadan next year and it would be manageable. Also, during Hifz, there should only Sunday off and daily Sabaq should continue on Saturday.nnNevertheless, this is the ideal mosque here. I am sorry grateful to Maulana Yaqub Sb, Molvi Tahir Sb for doing their best.nnMay Allah bless in their health, life, family and rizq.
Spectacular mosque, with clean toilets and Wudu area. The prayer hall is so peaceful and nice.nAlso has a lot of spaces for parking.
Such a beautiful masjid in the heart of Manchester.nnFirstly, it has safe free parking. The shape of the masjid is perfect. Nice, open plan square shape giving it good access to maximise Salah space.nnThe ablution area was perfect. Everything was slanted towards the drains.nnMoving onto the carpet in the masjid; WOW. So soft, clean and very well maintained.nnThe upstairs is used as an overflow for Friday's prayers and for evening children classes.nnWas really happy coming to this masjid.
Masjid Noor is a peaceful and welcoming place for salah.nThe environment is clean and well-maintained, and there is plenty of space for worshippers, even during Jummah.nnThe khutbah is delivered in a mix of English, Hindi, and Urdu, which makes it easy to understand for a diverse group of people.nnOverall, a great masjid for prayer, reflection, and community.
Fantastic, clean, spacious and well maintained. People here are welcoming and helpful.
