Welcome to Mas Body Gym

Taking that first step into any gym is a daunting experience; we have all experienced the feeling of ‘Will I get stared at?’ or ‘What if they laugh at me?’ Here at Mas Body Gym, we are so much more than a Gym, we are a family. Whoever you are, wherever you’re from, whatever your goals and whatever your background we welcome you along to the Gym everyone is talking about. We care about your fitness goals, whether you are looking to bulk up, tone down, and maintain that body you worked hard to achieve or just make climbing a flight of stairs easier. There is no better place for you to do this than Mas Body Gym.

Our aim here at MAS is not only to give you the facilities and equipment to achieve your goals, but also the knowledge and experience to make these goals reality. Our personal trainers and fitness instructors are here every day and on hand to guide you if you need it.

From our cardio area, free weights area, ‘Life Fitness’ machines and equipment, Floodlight 120m2 undercover astroturf functional training area with equipment like Prowlers, Battle Ropes, Barrels, Tires, Power Bags to use & our outdoor custom built Callisthenics area as well as personal training sessions from friendly top UK athletes during event days, shower & wash room, tanning bed, onsite fitness clothing/supplement store and much more. We have taken the time to think of everything you’ll ever need to get into shape and look and feel, a healthier, happier you.

I joined Mas body gym a couple off month after they opened as most gyms I’d been too were big national ones and honestly didn’t know my name after been going there for years, two weeks in all the staff at MAS knew my name were always polite and really couldn’t do enough for you 8 years later still there no complaints at all the equipment is constantly been upgraded and I have always been treat like I’m friend rather then a member especially by my Mike the owner. Can honestly say this gym is brilliant have made loads of mates here and never regret going.

I used to train at Mas Body Gym, the only reason I stopped is because I moved back home and as someone who trains 5-6 times week, the cost of travel would’ve been too much to get to and from the gym.  I’ve went to a couple of other gyms since and can make a fair unbiased comparison.  The team who work at the gym are some of the most friendly and polite people I have met in this industry. They don’t hold judgment, they are always on hand to help and I never felt embarrassed asking how to operate a machine or asking for dietary advice as when I started I was an absolute novice when it came to exercise. Unlike other gyms I’ve been to which I won’t name as I don’t wish to slate others where staff members aren’t present, are irritated when they’re asked questions and really have no sense of customer service.  The sense of community in this gym is also fantastic. I made friends in this gym who I still chat to online, who offer encouragement and advice, and vice versa. People of all shapes and sizes go to this gym, nobody is ever looked down upon, nobody is ever treated as less than for their body size or fitness level, support is given to everyone not only from staff but between members. Again, this sense of community isn’t something I haven’t found as easily at other gyms.  I’ll only ever speak from my own experience, and I will only ever recommend something if I truly believe in it.  This gym is well equipped and fantastic for people who’ve never stepped foot in a gym, or on the other end, have been training for 10+ years.  There really is something for everyone, and it is a place where everyone can feel comfortable.

Amazing gym! ... staff and customers all very welcoming, very very clean gym and all machines and equipment in Amazing condition! ... the classes I never thought I'd do but I have and I love them! ... no-one is judged no-one is left behind all stick together & the 6.15am bootcamp is perfect for me with work   ... I would 100% recommend this gym to all ages, keep up the good work mas body

Top quality gym, great staff who are all very supportive and the best equipment. I have tried a number of gyms / PTs over the years and never got results until I joined MAS. The owner is always making improvements and buying new equipment all to benefit the members. All the members are really nice and there is a real good vibe here

I was a member of Mas back in 2016-2017 and left due to work commitments and sustaining an injury that changed the way I exercised. After a recent chat regarding my confidence with Mike, ash and Jenny, I decided to rejoin, and I’m so glad I did! The mas ethos have stayed the same, staff know you all by name, they greet you when in the gym, feels so welcoming. There is a wide variety of machines which other larger gyms done not offer been there, seen it. The staff are always on hand to assist or support you, but if you like being left alone they understand and do that also. I could go on…. But the most important thing is I feel safe in mas to go and lift weights without judgement, without the negativity I have experienced in other gyms as a woman who lifts weights .

Lovely run gym been going for a few yrs now, so different from the big named gyms as its smaller all the people who go are so friendly and are happy to help any way they can, classes are really good different every night plenty of choice and times to chose from. Give it a go you won't be disappointed.

I joined Mas body gym over a year ago now, I was really nervous on my first day as I didnt know anyone and choose this gym purely as I heard so much about the owners helping people in times of need which I thought was really lovely so I decided it was here I’d rather sign up In a hope it would be a nice place to train and get my fitness up… fast forward a year I’m still here and my hopes all became a reality and then some! I really couldn’t recommend this place enough, the owners the staff and members are so lovely, friendly and encouraging, I feel really valued as a member and I’ve made so many friendships it’s just been a really lovely experience that I’d like to share and to say if you want to come to a gym where your made welcome, where your not just a number but your name is remembered, to a place filled with all different age groups, all shapes and sizes and all fitness levels then Mas body is the place to be. I can promise you it will be the best decision you make x

I joined MAS 2 years ago as we came out of the first COVID lockdown, I’d put weight on while I’d been working from home and needed to do something about it. I chose MAS because of the location and price. I was aware of it because of everything Mike and the team had done for the community during the pandemic. Joining a gym can be daunting, especially when you’re unfit and overweight, but I had nothing to worry about! The PTs are so supportive as are the other members. No one gets judged, you’re not just a number , the PTs know your name and make you feel so welcome.  The classes are brilliant I need someone to push me as I tend not to push myself as hard as I can and they use the Myzone system which is brilliant for your own personal motivation and so they know how much they can push you or not. I’ve been to other gyms over the years, but this one is by far the one where I feel most relaxed and supported. If you’re looking for a gym, look no further than MAS, you won’t be disappointed.

I have been to other gym and felt so uncomfortable so I was a bit worried about staring mas but what a totally different atmosphere to other gyms the welcome we got was amazing the support is the best I’ve ever had any questions I have the staff will answer each and everyone of the team are helpful and so supportive . Also pt’s are  so good they never rush you always take the time to explain what is needed and if you can’t manage something they will show you an alternative so thank you to everyone at team mas .
