Love this place. Annual pass well worth it, you also get a free visit to 6 other zoos in UK. It's a large zoo and at a slow pace you can be here for the entire day. Some new things including Tropical House, totally amazing!! Good well cared for animals, staff are all so friendly and helpful. Good food, but you have a lot of places to eat your own food inside and outside areas.

Another great day out with our grandchildren and daughter. I am disabled and use a class 1 mobility scooter. Went round the park easily without any problems. The staff were very helpful. I've had a great time and I know thr kids did. There are new 3 including the tropical house. Little difficult getting the scooter in but worth it.

I'm a regular visitor to the zoo with an annual pass. Great for a dry day as the zoo is spread out over a large area and there isn't much cover. Can easily spend the whole day slowly meandering through. Decent and reasonably priced restaurant, although very busy at peak times. And very good range of animals from the large, tigers, giraffes, zebras etc down to small meerkats, penguins, birds. Plenty to see and to keep the little ones in wonder.

Ever since I was a child I have loved this place. I have fond memories of riding the zoo train to see santa clause and watching the giraffes give birth. I visit maybe once every few years (would like to go more often) and I always have an amazing time. We visited yesterday and it was nice and quiet. It's nice to see the staff about their work and watch the well welled after animals about their days. It's not like normal zoos, the animals are in quite large areas for the most part and are not often always fully visible but it's nice to see they have some space. The staff are always friendly and the park is always well kept it not a bit dated and in need of a bit of an overhaul which looked like it was going on in the far side of the park. The cafe is a bit pricey so I recommend a packed lunch but there is plenty of seating and picnic areas.

Really enjoy the layout which provides options for long/short visits. Really like the new Tropical exhibition (esp the sloth) and the lovely building it is in. It feels like the old one had more residents (even if they were insects) so hopefully we can see the return of some of those. The tiger (is there more than one?) was in a very physical mood so got more of a close-up than at any zoo I have been to before. Awesome!!
