We had reason to visit Marmalade recently to investigate the possibility of having two custom wedding rings created. The service we received was exceptional, and although we didn't choose to have the rings made on this occasion Simon was professional, courteous and understanding. I highly recommend them.

It always a little stressful to leave your engagement ring to a jewellery you have never been to, so I arrived reserved & worried. But the team, the different steps your rings go through & the price made me really at ease & I am so delighted to have trusted them. My engagement ring is like new 10 years later! I will defintly go again if needed & recommend it to anybody.

very disappointed with customer service. came in to repair a ring and was quoted a price of 70 pounds and "certainly under 100" and three months later i came into the shop to approve the stone they had for me and they then quoted a price of 200 . when i questioned why the price had gone up three times the original quote, they then changed it to 300, and even said it could go up to 500. it left like someone was laughing in my face. very unprofessional and surprised that the shop exists with this kind of service

Simon (the proprietor) and his better half are lovely. The shop is very tastefully decorated and COSY. Some of the items are perhaps a little overpriced (sorry!) - but overall they have beautiful pieces and Marmalade is definitely worth a look! C xx

If you want an example of excellent customer service, visit Marmalade. I recently brought some gold bangles in that I no longer wanted, very happy with the service from start to finish.
