Typical marks and spencers over 3floors. Nice cafe on the second floor. Good selection of coffee and home made cakes

For somewhere the size of Llandudno the Marks and Spencer store is larger than you would expect. The shop is split into two stores, about 50 metres from each other. The larger has the food store, all women's clothes, household items and accounts etc. The other has men's clothes and children's ware. Inside, things are much as you would expect from M and S, though because it comprises the two stores there is more room than in some. It has a cafe in the larger store It is considered by many to be the best branch with the best stock of any in North Wales.

Store is up to the usual high M&S quality but the speed of service in their coffee shop is extraordinarily slow - exceptionally slow even by M&S standards!

Was unsure of a star rating to give to this - I like M&S, but do I love it? Not really, but it hasn't done anything wrong to deserve the deduction of 1 star... Hmmm. As you can see, I opted for 4 stars for no other reason than I am not sure you can really love a department store. Anyway, this is much like all other M&S stores, just near the sea! We went in for a voucher for my wifes granny, ended up spending £50 on nibbles and a watermelon and forgot the voucher. Beware, very difficult to get past the food hall in the entrance (perhaps that's the reason for the deducted star).
