This is about the M&S Cafe primarily, which is accessed upstairs, and has toilets near by, staff lovely, food selection of hot and cold is generally good. Tried to order a Sausage sandwich and they were sold out of sausages, not sure how that’s possible with a food store below ! Chips were under cooked, hot, but soft and not chips rather dam / soft hot potato strips.nOther items were lovely.nOnly 3 stars due to the food, not the staff who were lovely and very attentive and helpful.
Saw Jo earlier for a bra fitting. She was absolutely amazing! Made me feel so at ease and suggested several bras which were perfect for me and affordable which I wasn’t expecting! I also bagged some matching knickers. I would recommend the bra booking service to everyone!
I was so shocked & embarrassed today in my local M & S store in Havant, I went up to the men’s section to buy my husband 3 pairs of. Shorts , a pair of jeans & a pair of shoes , I paid for them in the mens department then proceeded to go to the ladies I picked up a top & got a few bits in the good department so paid for the top with my food, as I was leaving I was stopped going out the shop by a man who proceeded to ask me about the mens purchase & to show that I had paid !!!!! Of course I had the receipt but could not believe it & the fact that he scurried off very quickly, I was beyond embarrassed & shocked & feel reluctant to go back in the store if that’s what they think I would do !!!
Visited this afternoon, Ordered the eggs Benedict last time I was here and they had run out of the sauce... On this visit I ordered it again and they had run out of eggs.nnHow is it possible to run out of eggs when there's a shop below?nnI then proceeded to get a cheese and tuna toastie due to the above being out of stock,nI'm unsure if they toasted it or not as it came out cold and well not very well toasted at all.nnI'm not blaming the staff for the mishaps as they all seem nice. however I believe management needs to pull their respective fingers out and actually start managing.
Disappointed visit this morning. I popped in for a selection of pastries for a trip with friends today. I couldn’t see any tongs nor anyone to ask so I carefully used my hands I was taking all the pain au chocolates that were left anyway when a woman appeared and very sarcastically told me to use the tongs and pushed them out towards me. I said sorry I didn’t see them they were quite hidden and not pointing out towards us customers at which point she rolled her eyes. I simply said rude and walked away. I paid for the 2 pastries I had already bagged as I had already bagged them and proceeded to head to Tesco opposite instead. I am very angry at this employees attitude towards me. I appreciate that there were tongs but they were not visible. And I cannot be the only person who would have picked items up by hand
