Terrible shop. Sadly, it's going the same way as Tandy. Instead of offering a helpful, knowledgeable service, they opt instead to try and con you into spending more than you need to. Rarely do they have anything in stock and offer instead to order components online for you, completely negating the point of having a high street store. Their components are of sub par quality for the price. You can buy better quality components for the same price and have a guaranteed next day delivery if you buy online from RS Components. The staff do not know anything about what they sell

Been there only once yet, 1st time on the last week, so don't know too much yet about their shops but so far yet I had a great experience, staff was friendly, they had on store what I needed, so I got a great, quality 850W PSU on decent price for my Gaming/Work Station PC. I tried 1st other shops such as PC World in the city centre of Liverpool but they had ng on store but only ONE (!) 450W power supply unit for PC, which is I think a bit ridiculous, since their name is PC World. At least, the guy in PC World was friendly too & recommended me to check in the Maplin, what they have on store. It was important to me, 'cause just started my 2 days off & I didn't want to wait for delivery but fix it myself my PC ASAP to be able to use it again until I have enough spare time to do so. :)

Handy at a pinch for computer related supplies but generally over priced and when sale are in place are rather week.
