Electronic devices; phones, tablets, laptops and games for consoles and PCs (Proper Computers). I bought a nearly new Galaxy 8 with 3 year warranty. Reliable and reasonable value.

Staff dont understand consumer laws or statutory rights ( ironically on the reciept) mostly students. Cex dont have a hq phone no. Wonder why. It would be blocked with poor service complaints. Emailed ceo david butler. Id throw away the dvd set but ill get my money back . Im determined. Not fit for purpose , items- staff - store and company.

I use CEX for convenience and a way of recycling old tech. It is a 20 minute drive from where I live so I gather a few bits and bobs together and travel down. Firstly the waiting time was excessive for the staff to customer ratio. Secondly I was quoted £52 for the phone I was selling. I was then told there would be an hour's wait whilst they checked the phone. I went for a coffee and 70 minutes later returned only to be told it would take a further 30 minutes. Once I was served I was told that the price was now £44 as there were more scratches on the phone than originally thought. This had no.integrity at all as the scratches could have been caused by them in the 90 minutes they had the phone. I was then between a rock and shard place having wasted 2 hours to go to CEX. Disappointing customer service which lacked integrity and I feel that I have been a victim of sharp practice.
