I bought two degus from here and they have the nicest temperaments. They've clearly been well cared for while they've been in store. All their animals are housed in suitable enclosures and they're kept very clean. The staff are lovely and very knowledgeable. Extremely happy with my experience dealing with MARP. Thank you.
Couldn't be happier with the help and advice I had while choosing a companion bird for myself No upselling and they checked to see my cage set up before I could purchase my cockatiel which I think is brilliant and I wish more places did this.
Staff are always friendly, they do a loyalty card too which is great. I’ve been here 2-3 times and the recent change reptile room is wonderful. I love that animal welfare is clearly at the forefront and they won’t sell any animals without then having the appropriate space and owner to be having the correct knowledge!
Very well set out pet shop friendly and helpful staff. I bought 4 .1/2 year old hand reared African grey parrot called rocky and its very well trained and really friendly. . I would highly recommend this pet shop.
We love this place. The staff are very knowledgeable and extremely friendly and helpful. If this place doesn't have what you're after for your pet then nobody does. It's a 40 mile round trip for us but we know we're going to find what we need for our beardie, pond and aquariums.
I buy things for my sons rabbit, they are ok, helpful. The only downfall I find is that when they open doors at 10 am, the shop is not already set up, which to me they should be ready and roaring to go as soon a customer walks through the door. I like it here
Visited here today whilst in the area, as wanted some cichlids to add to my tank and was struggling to find the type I was after in my local stores. Massive shop with all different types of small furries, reptiles, birds and fish, plus foods and accessories. Staff were polite and I managed to get the fish I wanted at a very fair price. Will certainly visit again.
Nice place to visit. Staff ate helpful. The new reptile house is good and when we went there was a staff member walking around with a snake on her arm engaging with people and even letting them hold it as well if they wanted to
Found the MARP Centre online as I was in search of a T.stirmi. Called in to buy the tarantula and reserved/paid for it, they were really helpful in pointing me towards couriers and were amazingly helpful and everyone I spoke to was lovely. Checked my setup beforehand which I appreciated as it ensures an animal goes to the right home. My tarantula arrived packed well and healthy and is thriving. Staff obviously very knowledgeable and even though my experience wasn't in person I would recommend them and if I'm ever in the area I'll 100% pop in myself.
They have staff who clearly know what they are doing and many options in most things,great prices too.Animals have great enclosures .Not many choices in reptile hideaways but other than that perfect
