We visited yesterday evening Wednesday about 6pm, myself and my husband. We didn't book but we had no problem getting a table. The restaurant was quite busy for mid-week. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. There is a good choice on the menu for everyone and the food was delicious and really good sized portions, we couldn't finish it all and they were happy to pack it up for us to take home with us. The restaurant isn't licensed but they sell soft drinks and you can take your own alcohol of choice with you. Well worth a visit we had a lovely meal. They also do a takeaway menu.
Really enjoyed the food. Good prices. A large party in when we were there which meant a long wait and not a very pleasant experience. Would not have returned until the food arrived and now will definitely go back but maybe not on a busy night. Parking: Parking nearby. Around space for 12 depending how people park if looking at the restaurant it's over to the right on a rough piece of land.
Brilliant restaurant, good value for money and the staff are amazing. Just attended a Bollywood night and the dancers were great, the manager's daughter and wife were even better! Amazing atmosphere and the most attentive staff. The food is 1st class and it's bring your own alcohol. Love it here and will be coming back lots in the future. Food was absolutely lovely, delivery was slightly later than expected time but considering how busy it must have been that particular night friday night and England playing very reasonable. And they noticed a missing item before I did and dropped it off before I even realised. Definitely my new go to
I have been eating at this establishment for many years, however tonight was my last. When I was finished I still had plenty if food left over wich they normally bag up and I leave with. Tonight they just threw the tubs on the table and told me do it myself. I don't have issues with this it's just the way he did it and then his arrogance. Also they tried charge me 2 pounds for the use of a glass I never used and 2 pounds 80 for 2 wine glasses that were unused on the table. Proper gone down hill and I won't be returning....
I can't review the food unfortunately because our starter still hadn't arrived in the first hour of our sitting, despite politely asking 2 different members of staff to enquire for us. This was an early evening sitting and not particularly busy. We gave it up as a bad job. Wedding anniversary meal ruined.

Live just a few minutes drive from this fantastic restaurant. Ordered takeaway for two, very reasonable price given everything going on with £££ at the moment. Food as always was delicious. However, just a bit of feedback for the staff at Mangrove more than anything. My partner ordered a Bhuna, myself a Madras, both chicken. The containers weren't labelled, so we weren't 100% sure which was which. Liking pretty much any curry on the menu, I allowed my partner to choose the curry she preferred the look of. She was convinced it was the Bhuna, but it was way too spicy. We rang the restaurant, and they couldn't have been better about it. They replaced the curry free of charge. Perhaps we ate each others curry first time round, however this could have been avoided by labelling the containers. Particularly with a larger order of 4+ currys. Full kudos to Mangrove though, handled it brilliantly and in the end we both really enjoyed our takeaway treat. It was also great to see the restaurant so busy inside - we must support our local businesses or else we'll lose them! All the best - thanks again! Dave & Natasha

This place is second to none on SERVICE PRICE & GOOD QUALITY INGREDIENTS even PORTION SIZE considering I have eaten at a lot of restaurants - Leah Manchester Based. Especially love the private booths dining and fish tank!
