First visit here, after wanting to go for a long time. Absolutely fantastic. Delicious food, great venue and lovely staff. Will definitely be back soon. Couldn't fault anything. Vegetarian options: All vegetation and most available as vegan.
The staff were attentive, the food was amazing and the prices are reasonable. They also hold cookery classes, the food is proper authentic Indian food. I can’t recommend this place enough. I didn’t even notice it was a vegetarian restaurant until I’d left, the flavour makes up for it and you don’t notice it’s all meat free.
Lovely staff, lovely place, food was missing something, trying to be special but missing the mark. Had a lot better elsewhere on the market and cheaper restaurants. A little expensive for that missing ingredient. But it was recommended to us so what do we know.Food: 2/5
I should start by saying that I don’t often make the effort to leave reviews but after visiting Mango I just had to give them a 5 star review. The food was fantastic. Fresh, delicious, incredibly moreish. Some really interesting dishes that you won’t see in your standard Bangladeshi/Pakistani ‘Indian’ restaurant too. The service was also great. Not just good service but also genuinely warm and welcoming. We’ve been meaning to visit Mango for ages and am glad to say that the wait was worth it. I’m already looking forward to our next visit and only wish we lived closer! We’ll done team Mango, keep it up!
My girlfriend and I ate here recently when taking a day trip to Whetherby and the surrounding area. My girlfriend is Indian so she has high expectations when it comes to Indian food. I'm pleased to say that neither of us were disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious and high quality, the only slight negative was the portion sizes were on the small side but the taste more than made up for this. The restaurant is really nicely decorated and has a relaxing atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and polite. If we're ever in the area again in future we'd definitely go back.
I went to Mango's for the first time a few nights ago and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, the food was delicious, cooked to order and arrived quickly. The service was excellent. I will be returning! Vegetarian options: Mango is a purely vegetarian restaurant
I've been to Mango twice now and both times have been brilliant experiences. All the food that I've had has been 10/10, absolutely delicious and so fresh tasting! The team who run Mango are always so friendly and helpful. It's a wonderful place to eat and we'll definitely be back! Vegetarian options: Entirely vegetarian and most things can be made vegan.
Friendly helpful staff. Food authentic and very tasty. The spice heat is to suite the diners choice. We will definitely go again when in the area. Vegetarian options: My dosa was delicious. The waiter explained the best way of eating it. My husband had kofta, a first for him, and he said he enjoyed it very much.
Visited midweek as a group of 4. This is my second visit to Mango and still the nicest curry I've experienced. Please don't let the vegetarian menu out you off as it did me a little before I visited. You won't be disappointed for a truely unique and delicious experience! The staff are brilliant too and deserve their own special mention!
Our first visit to the restaurant, we'd come across Mango food at a few food events. Restaurant comfy, friendly and the food was great. It's lovely going somewhere where most of the food is vegan or can be easily adapted. The mixed starter platter was especially good. Recommended
