Great menu and some options I’ve not seen before at other Indian restaurants. Bring your own alcohol so good value. Only slight criticism, my wife who is tiny and rarely eats a full starter and main said her starter of chicken pakora was very small. All tasty though and friendly staff. Vegetarian options: Varied menu with vegetarian options. Parking: Park on streets on Main Street or in local car park.
What can I say. The whole experience was simply one of a kind. Fantastic food and fantastic atmosphere, for you and all the family. So come on down and enjoy this authentic taste of India. A must eat!
I live in Newcastle and when ever I use to come to Wetherby I always come here to have my meal. It is the best Bangladeshi Indian restaurant in the area. Prices are reasonable, food is really good, staff very friendly. 10 out 10.
Called in with a friend for an early evening meal on a Thursday evening. Staff were excellent and judged our needs perfectly. We weren't rushed but also not ignored. The food was top notch. The tarka dhall was just gorgeous and so was everything else we ate. I would not hesitate to reccomend this restaurant. I don't often give 5 star reviews but this is well deserved and we will be returning.
Absolutely outstanding... probably would say the best Indian we've had,food was beautiful,staff were lovely and very helpful No drinks so bring your own ...glasses and corkscrew provided..cannot recommend this place enough...little hidden gem
These guys epic.... such friendly and accomodating staff, not to mention them adding the odd extra sundry items extra poppadom when ordered for eg on foodhub. On the occasion i ordered outside of the app, they had forgotten my 2 poppadoms when it arrived - the chap was so apologetic. He said he would be around 15 minutes to rediliver a mere 2 poppadoms to which would have been a loss to them, having to redeliver. I mentioned not to worry about it. Ten minutes later a different delivery driver arrived, they were again very apologetic but they had doubled the amounr of poppadoms and sent a pickle tray also as an apology. Absolutely stunned. The quality of the food mixed kebab on naan it one of the best in Wetherby, where usually the marinated chicken from other places tends to be rather dry, the tandoori chicken from here is unbelievably succulent, the kebab meat also is different to that found in Wetherby, it too being succulent and delicious. The one thing which isn't common or easy to find in Wetherby zis naan bread kebabs, or freshly baked the proper way naan - these guys do it excellently! Be gal Lounge - absolute legends!

There are lots of Indian restaurants and takeaways in Wetherby, but non compare to Bengal Lounge. Easily the best, tastiest and most consistent takeaway in Wetherby.
Did us a takeaway order for 20 people with no issues. Always great food and the best choice for curry in Wetherby.
