Popular Turkish establishment near Dalston Junction. Friendly service; we arrived with a large musical instrument and they accommodated us by putting us in a corner with room for the instrument. Tried the lamb kebabs with fresh pide bread – we were not big fans of the salad but the grilled meat was excellent.
Our favourite kebab place in London. I worked nearby and was passing by everyday. After seeing that it is recommended by Ottolengi I thought we will give it a go but didn’t have high expectation. What a fantastic discovery! ! Food is outstanding and it is truly a hidden gem in London. The meat is outstanding and it’s simply delicious. The only falafels outside Israel which we really like!
We had the Adana Kofte, chicken wings, halloumi , chips and rice. Food was overall really tasty and well cooked. The restaurant inside is a bit dated and not the best of vibes / atmosphere. Giving 4 star as they don’t offer a wide range of sauces . Only had chilli sauce but no garlic sauce which I usually like with grill foods. Service also not the best
It was very authentic Turkish restaurant. The people and interior all of them felt like Turkey. We ordered Lahmacun - Turkish pizza and Karsic Kebab for 1 person. Turkish pizza had very different toppings and sauce, but it was crunchy outside and flavorful inside. In particular, Kebab was the satisfactory. The meat was very tender and well seasoned. The sauce they provide was very different from the other place, and it definitely adds up the taste. As it was quite spicy, people who cannot eat spicy food, need to be cautious.
Came here by myself for lunch. Had the Adana Yogurt which came with a salad and bread, and afterwards was given some baklava to finish off! Service was attentive and fast and all this food was for £15.50. Amazing.
The restaurant was so delicious! The meat was tender, not tough, and delicious. The yogurt menu was delicious and the salad was excellent. The atmosphere was also charming.
The best authentic Turkish restaurant in the area. I ordered half chicken and half lamb kebab.it was delicious I've ever had. the staff are very friendly and helpful, absolutely I will be back soon. thank you so much.
I have been going to this restaurant since 5-6 years. I can safely state that this is the best turkish restaurant in UK - and Yes I have been to loads of them. This is not your standard turkish restaurant - they have a different variety - such as Lokma Kebeb which are medallions of lamb with chilli/pepper pierced into them and covered on the side with fat. Also their Adana Kebab tastes very different to what you will find at the usual ones. It is a little pricier compared to other joints but I would pay the premium for the quality of meat and taste. One downside is that their chilli sauce is very rubbish, however it does not bother me as the taste of meat is excellent. Staff are all very polite and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.
As a vegetarian, I did not know what to expect from this place. Well, I got blown away. Each dish was a delight, from the hummus to the tomato salad to the tsatsiki. Big fan of this place, and Dalston is an amazing neighborhood.
Packed on a Monday night. Lovely atmosphere and tasty food. I'd have expected rice to come with the dish though. Plus there was a pesky fire alarm bleeping every few minutes. But that aside, it was a great restaurant. Loved seeing the open grill when you come in, where the meat is grilled. BYOB is great!
