I have been to Man v Food in Consett many times and never been disappointed. Each visit I have experienced excellent service and food, all at great prices. The manager takes great pride in meeting and talking with his guests, asking for feedback and suggestions of how the restaurant can improve.

Amazing food, huge portions! Would advise one starter to share between 4 people as they're massive and even with my hubby and eldest Son being greater eaters between the 4 of us we couldn't finish it all. Can get pricey when adding starters, drinks and desserts but well worth it for a treat.

Been here twice after hearing good things. Been disappointed both times. Thought I'd give it a 2nd chance as people kept saying it was lush. Food is average nothing special to make you want to return. Annoying manager who keeps coming to your table asking loads of questions. I like to eat in peace not approached every 2 minutes.

We visited this place yesterday as a party of 6 including 2 kids, we booked a table and we were greeted and seated no problem. The manager was very welcoming and took a shine to my youngest son! Food came quick and was delicious! Portion sizes were big. The desert menu was to good to resist but we all had no space left after our meal so decided on take away and had it later, my word desert didn't disappoint either massive and so delicious! We will definitely return again I was very impressed and well done Jack on serving us very welcoming and chatty.
