It's often too easy to not review your own regular haunts because of their familiarity. The Malt Shovel is quite simply a fabulous wee pub. Lunchtime sees great quality pub grub. Nothing fancy but always good. And you'd have to travel many miles to find a better pint.
Love this pub, great atmosphere, great selection of beers, cosy in the winter & lovely beer garden in the summer. Brad & Margaret are fantastic hosts who make us feel very welcome every time we go in!
Delicious food, never disappointed with our meal. Friday - Fish and home cooked chips best ever! Brad and Marg, are always very welcoming.
This is a proper community pub of the variety that are becoming increasingly rare. Fish & Chip Friday was great, would definitely recommend it.
