Popped in as was passing and can't wait to go back. Location beautiful, decor stunning, every room has its own character and staff were really lovely. Plenty of parking and easy access for wheelchairs, seating inside or out and food prices good. We had light bite ham, egg and chips and was large portion and we'll worth the money, £9.95 but would of paid £12-14! Looking forward to bringing family back, thankyou so much for making us feel welcome x
We booked for dinner for four. The portions were sizeable and very tasty. Really good value and a good range of food choices. Service was good and all in all, a nice meal out. Will definitely be back.Service: 5/5
Have heard good things about The Queens for a while now and thought we would try it out as a birthday treat. We didn't pre book a table, however the staff were lovely and quickly seated us in the restaurant after we ordered drinks at the bar. We both had a starter and a main, which were beautiful. I cannot fault the food whatsoever. Very flavourful and cooked to perfection! The portions were huge, and I felt bad for leaving some on my plate. We will definitely be back again
Excellent meal, had the Queen's steak, which is a combination of steak, pork sausages, omelette, mushrooms, black pudding and some chips to go with it. I truly love the meal and the staff are truly friendly, and supportive as well. I would re-visit once I have the chance to. Food & drinks: Well prepared and adequate.
Absolutely amazing little place. We stayed the night for a funeral up here and can't fault the staff at all. Really helpful went above and beyond to support us with everything we needed for our stay. We came back after for some food and that was brilliant as well. Reasonably priced and fantatsic quality. Glorious views of the wheatfield and beyond so get a chance to visit if you can! Food & drinks: Great selection
We went to this pub a couple of years ago and were very impressed. This time we had a mixed grill each, the sausages were undercooked ant the gammon was the saltiest. We’ve ever tasted. Didn’t feel that the manager was really concerned about complaint. Will not be going again. Hope that they improve otherwise in this financial climate the may not survive.
One of the best pubs in Telford. Great outside space, lovely interior decoration with comfortable seating. Bar staff friendly and always welcoming, well worth a visit Service: 3/5
Had Sunday lunch. Can't fault the staff they were polite and helpful and worked hard. Sadly the food was very under par. Roast potatoes were hard, so much so that my 8 year old granddaughter had to ask her grandma to cut through them as she couldn't! Never had that before. On top of that they'd run out of horseradish sauce at 2pm on a Sunday. Just not the standard it used to be . Sorry will look elsewhere now
Sunday lunch, absolutely awful. Three of us all had different meats. All terrible. Looked and tasted liked boiled meat. Wouldn't have given it to my dog. Felt sorry for the staff. As for the rest of the lunch. Just as bad. Hadn't been for a while. Never again...
Gorgeous pub which we visited on a whim. The food was fresh and seasonal which I adore. The side portion of chips were basically a share bowl! I had the Soup of the day, tried the Brie starter which I wished I had all to myself! And the Salmon of the specials. Honestly could not fault. A wonderful pub, with a calming atmosphere, overlooking the countryside. Nearby activities: We visited Hoo Farm. Parking: Plenty of spaces.
