Always a nice atmosphere. Great owner with excellent staff relationship. Locally sourced eggs, honey & pork pies to die for. Nice little beer garden at the back. Social distancing observed. Our favourite local watering hole.
Excellent pub with a wide beer selection plus plenty of info,.I.e. leaflets, business cards, papers etc for when you're on your own!

Another good sat night and a band
Fab place, vast selection of gin, ales and mixers. Bar staff are always welcoming and friendly. Lovely place to meet friends for a chat and chill out. Having chocolate behind the bar is a bonus
My wife and I are new to the area and having explored a few pubs we’re both in agreement that this will become our ‘local’! Excellent choice, and knowledge, of beers. If you’re after a traditional and relaxing pub then this is it. Highly recommended.
If you enjoy a catch up with your best mate and just talk about the week that's been great, but you need good beer too. This is the perfect place for both of these. Great beer, great atmosphere
