An excellent selection of wines, and really knowledgeable staff - always worth asking for a recommendation. Nice relaxed atmosphere in store, never hurried and the people working there all very friendly. There are a few parking spaces outside so easy to load up, just remember to recce the one way system and exit going in the right direction :-

Nice selection of wines. Not as much in beer and spirits but it is a wine store after all. Attentive service and left us to our own devices to look about. Prices seemed very reasonable although I admit that my conversion from CDN to GBP lacks a little but two good bottles of wine for £18 seemed pretty reasonable...
Couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Peter and his Kendal team. The returns policy was particularly useful after our wedding weekend was tainted by some delayed flights and cancelled parties. We were able to return ~25% of our un-drunk order. Majestic delivered the drinks, and collected the returns, working directly with the venue. We will be using them again!
Beautiful wines and the staff are so helpful...they keep a record of what you've had before, so when I forgot which wine id had they had it looked up in a jiffy..and I purchased one the other week which I didn't like, no problem take it back and they exchange it for one you do....even carried my box to the car, what more could you ask for...
The Kendal team are always very welcoming and helpful, great deal of knowledge across the board and a good selection to be found in the shop. More local items are finding there way onto the shelf which is great
Visited one evening to look for a wine for a dinner date. The selection is amazing and the staff friendly, welcoming and certainly knew their stuff. All that and an invitation to do a bit of tasting! Highly recommended.
