Went here on a Saturday with the family. The Playbarn is very good very spacious and great chips! Staff also very helpful and great service. We then went to the beach area and there were lots of outdoor games and toys for children as well as music. The farm was lovely too nicely laid out it was a short trip down the paddock but good. Friendly animals and also got to see this beautiful white peacock
Very nice place for children and families. Children can touch a lot of animals and staff are very friendly and happy to answer questions about the animals and reassure children who want to stroke or handle them. Given the time of year we went for the Halloween trick or treat trail. The children could answer some questions, choose their own pumpkins and even carve them there. At the end sweets were given for completing the trail. I am not going to give 5 stars only because it was not clear where to start the trail, how to get the activity sheet some people were given it but we somehow weren't and had to go back and ask and who was supposed to give the sweets. Otherwise the place is amazing and we all had a great time in nature.
A lovely place for families with small children. Lots of things to do and very reasonable pricing! For older children 10+ they might be slightly bored after a while but this is an Aladdin’s cave for smaller children. Well worth a visit, I would plan to spend 4/5 hours here. It is extra money to go into the play barn/ crazy golf ect but is worth it. All places have good seating and cafes for the adults
Good but needs to clean budgie cage out and was a bit expensive suggest you go to caravan parks make discounts and work to together much more affordable in these tight times.
We visited yesterday with a little girl in a wheelchair. What a wonderful place with lots of lovely friendly animals to see. The staff are AMAZING and showed such care. We had a wonderful few hours there. Ate there too. Yummy wood fire pizza. Farm shop is good too. Highly recommend!
Everything for a full day out with the kids, soft play us a bargain, staff are lovely. The farm is absolutely brilliant, so much to do You can feed the animals, hold snakes, lizards etc. The lad running the exotic animals section was so friendly and knowledgeable. After that you can play on playground, bounce on the castle. Crazy golf is great. Shop is excellent Even on a gray day we all had a superb time
We had a party at The Playbarn and the staff were wonderful, especially the lady with dark hair who kept everything running smoothly. Considering they have to work with young, excitable children their service was exemplary. Highly recommend this venue for a Children's party. Thanks for making our girls' day so special.
Lovely discovery today. Nice quality products, but I could not see any cooked meat. It was Monday morn though so I am sure there is usually some. Friendly staff. Looked like there was lots to do for families.
Visited the bistro this morning, ordered pot of tea for two plus two toasted tea cakes. The tea arrived quite promptly but after 15 minutes no sign of the tea cakes. Managed to catch the eye of the girl behind the counter and asked if she’d forgotten them, she misunderstood and brought our bill !! Reminded her about teacakes and away she went, after another wait they arrived, stone cold , very dried out plus fridge cold butter. Had to ask for hot water as tea was cold by then. When I paid the £10 plus bill no one asked how everything had been, hence this review. We won’t be visiting again.
We went for a quick lunch but unfortunately this wasn't the case.. a hour later our food was no where to be seen. Finally after well over a hour our poor quality food arrived. Lucky for them we paid up front and couldn't wait in the queue of customers waiting for refunds.
