Great range inc. newspapers snacks, general off licence / corner shop stuff. Bargain booze? Not exactly.

I would give zero stars if it let me, the way the female shop worker treated a customer was disgusting. I was so shocked to see that she approached a young man and just snatched a case of beer from his arms and said "I will take that thank you very much" and walks off! It was very embarrassing for the young man and for myself and other customers! He actually had Identification and was 23 years old! Poor customer service! I don't normally write reviews but I genuinely felt this needs to be said to prevent this from others from going through this! I hope you learn from this shop woman!!!!

Id put zero if I could bought a ecig from there and it doesn’t even work charged me 6 quid to smoke nothing pile of rubbish this shop avoid it if I was you

I would avoid this shop at all cost the female member  of staff as absolutely no customer service i went in for 2 bottles of pop and thought they was £2.40 for two when she scanned 1 it came up £1.95 for one so i said there 2 for £2.40 which she replied “no there not” so i said “they are so i asked was the dr pepper 2 for £2.40” “her response whatever it says on the label”she then barged over to the fridge “there not 2 for £2.40 as i said” so i got 2 dr pepper and went to till still tried charge me for other bottle as well for 1.95 so i said “i don't want that one” she replied “theres always one” with an attitude  my reply was “yes there is you as your customer service disgraceful” she then snatched the bottles of pop off the counter and says “do you know what I'm not serving you and stormed over to the fridge with them and put them back in the fridge this woman lets the beautiful area of the lake district/windermere down would give this shop -10 if i could shocking went the co-op down the road got the same deal 2 for £2.40 an a very polite member of staff.

Excellent staff and an excellent shop

Called Bargain Booze yet the Co Op opposite the road sells booze cheaper, also the lady behind the counter is very rude and thinks it’s okay to judge a book by its cover by taking the booze out of your hand before you have even shown proof of age, do not recommend this shop at all!

Sells Fanta grape only pale in bowness worth a visit can always rely on

Very handy off licence with some great discounts and offers on the booze

Very friendly, plenty of choices to choose from....

Handy off-licence that also sells a limited range of food items.
