I recommend this patisserie for light fresh bakery items and coffee. The staff were fast and we had great serviceFood: 5/5
We didn't eat in but certainly plan on doing so in the future. Instead we bought cakes to eat at home, which were all delicious.Food: 5/5
The staff were lovely, David and Remi the owners spoke with our table and we're very lovely. The lunch was amazing and the tarts to die for. Also, the flat white was the nicest I've had in a very long time. Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian options for each main in the menu Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and Vegan options consistent.
Great place to sit with nice ambiance. Staff are usually very good and professional. Main problem is that the restaurant closes its kitchen early and sometimes unpredictably. And also it's closed on a Monday!!! If these 2 things were fixed...really a wonderful place.
Really need a holiday! Instead I treated myself to a taste of France at Maison Mayci. Delicious Croque monsieur, coffee & raspberry frangipani. So lucky to have this cafe on my doorstep. Life is good again! Lovely staff. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Just okay. We stopped in we for a coffee and cake after seeing the many positive reviews.  Sadly we were underwhelmed.  The coffee was decent and the tarts were okay but nothing special, though if you're a big fan of French style tarts you might appreciate them more than we did.  The staff were friendly and the decor was pleasant enough, if a little uninspired.
I enjoyed the garden area where you can relax and unwind. The Vegan creamy Mushrooms very tasty. Also had a nice pot of tea, particularly liked that you can have your cup of tea topped up via the drainage pipes, just joking, see my photo Update on Friday 8th July. A bit disappointed/annoyed with the breakfast at 'Maison Mayci' this morning on the menu it said a basket of toast with a selection of our bread but what I got was 4 pieces of wholemeal bread and no variation. I did tell them and they said it was all they had but would pass on my complaint to the kitchen. I've reduced my rating from 4 star to 3 star.
Lovely place with friendly atmosphere. Food was great, though the wine could have been nicer. Can buy tasty pastries etc to take out.Food: 4/5
We came yesterday with my husband and my daughter. The dishes, desserts were absolutely delicious, and the service excellent. I highly recommend !Food: 5/5
A lovely French café, simplicity in its selection but rich in character with art work decorating the walls and a lovely back garden area. To the food, I had avocado and scrambled egg as my breakfast and a heavy chocolate tart for brunch. Presentation is everything here from the plate to the servers. Love everything about it including the local pale ale I finished off with. When in the South of Brum I will definitely visit.
