After a several issues now is the time to complain the completely inefficiency of their service. Is that bad? Yes. They can book you a taxi with a card reader? Yes, they book you for a specific time as you requested, but the driver arrives always late. If you call them to ask info about the delay their answer is: "Still looking a driver with a card reader". OMG! Is that hard to simply tell to a customer at the first call: "Sorry we can't promise you a taxi with a card reader. Is cash only at the moment". Is that hard? How can be possible operate in this way? I intentionally not cancelled the taxi that time because I wanted to make feel the taxi driver not his fault obviously how bad is wasting fuel to reach the point just because the company doesn't help him to keep the service working smoothly. Only in this way this complain can work. Missed my daughter lesson for this issue a day ago. I Will use Mainline again? Yes, why no in the future. If the world can change for better, let alone a taxi company.
If I could give lower I would. Do not book a taxi using your cars as if they are unable to provide the service you will not receive a refund. They will pass you from pillar to post saying it takes 3 to 5 days
Brilliant !! Phoned for taxi and they were at my house so quick ,the driver was so helpful ,we had to arrive at our destinations at a certain time and we made it definitely use them again very reliable
I was a loyal customer of Mainline for years, but the service recently has been shocking. I use the app and have had: prebooked and confirmed taxis showing up 20+ minutes late with no apology/explanation/contact; ASAP taxi bookings taking ages and then being cancelled because ‘the driver didn’t see you’ even when I’ve been standing waiting on the pavement the whole time with no car ever appearing; and the worst customer service support imaginable when I call in to get help, including being hung up on. I’ve gone from relying on Mainline and recommending them to others to now being so disappointed that I’m closing my account of many years.
Worst company ever, driver refuse to take card payment apparently the guest have to say if they want to use, i need to go cash money and the meter still conting, robbery

Fabulous. My mum who's 92 had to be at hospital quickly as her usual transport had let us down. Jane at Eccles had a cab there in minutes and took such good care of mum. Thanks so much, amazing caring service.
Booked taxi for the airport. They were not only late, but when called, claimed they were ‘round the corner’ and then continued to hang up when we called to check the location of the driver. Upon arrival, found out the driver was dropping staff off at a nearby hotel and that’s why he was late. Not acceptable and do not recommend this company.
I use this cab service for almost two years. Maybe it is said it is cheapest, but the operators who make bookings don't have any idea about Customer Service. I will give you an example: I've booked a taxi at 23.30 for 24.00. It was for my husband who didn't have battery because he couldn't recharge on his way to home. So I've called them twice to confirm the booking as my husband couldn't call. At 24.10 I've call them back to confirm that my husband was taken in the car. They say: I cannot give you the information. After I started to rise the voice and to tell them that I will make a complain, they sent a car! It was 24.36 when my husband was picked up. And this after 6 calls and a lots of nerves and agitation. And they charged more!
Manchester cars and Mainline taxi are owned by same person in different area's. I pre-booked a taxi 1 hour notice with Manchester cars/ Mainline Taxi for 15:00, the service is so bad, that it is 15:38 and I am still waiting for the taxi to arrive. It is not the first time it happened, but the most frustrating part is that they lie to you every time you call to chase your taxi. There's a management team that assures you, that they will handle all complaints, but never give you a feedback of the outcome of the complaint. Seriously if you can't provide a service, then please shut your business. I have been waiting with patience for my taxi, but these delays and the conversation with operator can seriously effect you mentally and ruins the whole day. update: 1 week later Eventually after 1 hour, I cancelled the booking as I was so frustrated that I was in no condition to go to university and revise for my exams. Upon cancellation I asked to talk with management. There were no management available at the time, so I requested to get a call back from management, which I was told could take up to 2 days. After 1 week, I had no e-mail nor a call from the management. So, this is the kind of respect they show to a paying customer.
