Very basic station with no facilities. Handy if you live close by. Easy walk into Maidstone town taking you alongside Maidstone East Station with easy access. I assume that's one of the main reasons for Maidstone Barracks Station - short walk to change to the other Maidstone line.
Simple stop on the Tonbridge to Strood railway. Ticket machine. No car park. No toilets . No disabled access.nMaidstone West station is the next stop and is a better option for people with limited mobility.
Good station but no facilities, better off going down the road and using Maidstone West on the same line, bit unnecessary having 2 stations on the same line that take 30 seconds to travel between by train. Also no disabled access, platforms are only accessible by stairs.
Pretty poor station. No pedestrian crossing so its dangerous, its dirty and rarely cleaned. No disabled access.
It does seem like it’s in the middle of nowhere. No staff but self service machines are in working order. Generally quite clean.
