I had a freshly made pizza here for dinner with my wife & a couple of friends. The 2 friends also had a Pizza. My wife had the duck breast tagliatelle. We all really enjoyed our food. We sat outside overlooking the harbour as the sun was setting. It was beautiful. Staff were friendly, service was quick, food was lovely & the bill, including 2 bottles of wine plus a tip was £100. Very enjoyable evening.
Second time my family and I have been here. Last time was over 5 years ago and the food and customer service is at its best! Authentic Italian food... So far the best I've tasted in the UK!
Really lovely Italian in a beautiful location. The pepperoni pizza and sausage & onion pizza were delicious. Dough balls are the best I’ve had out with tasty homemade garlic butter.
Not impressed. I ordered the ribeye med-rare and got med-well. Pretty dry and bit tough. Mushroom sauce was good. Calzone was undercooked as was the calamari. First glass of red was really warm. The lobster/crab ravioli as pretty good though. Overall. We wouldn’t go back.
The location has one of the best views of royal harbour, food is cooked with perfection with the real Italian touch, staff is very friendly and helpful, the prices are reasonable having in consideration the ingredients and quality of food. Great food and friendly service. The location and views are perfect during sunset. I had mussels which were fresh and rich in flavour, wanted to lick the plate or save for dipping sauce. The pizza was nicely done and authentic, like the ones i had in italy. The pasta ravioli although didnt look like a big portion but was spot on in flavour and size. I would definitely return!
Great Italian food with cliff top views. Burrata was very good, risotto and pasta were also very tasty. Staff all very friendly and professional. Great place overlooking the harbour.
La Magnolia holds a special place in our hearts, as we got engaged there, the food is delicious, the atmosphere perfect as is the service, I cannot recommend this place highly enoughFood: 5/5
We turned up on a busy Saturday Night, without a reservation, but we're given a table. The staff were very busy, but found time to chat and make us feel we were important. Fabulous food! Parking: No parking, but the elevated position meant great views of the harbour.
I took my daughter to La Magnolia for her birthday; it was a good choice. The staff are pleasant, the venue is light and airy and you can sit in or outdoors fab views of the harbour. We had the doughballs to start which were plentiful 1 portion was sufficient for two, the cannelloni which was delicious, but it would have been better if there were 3 rather than just 2 cannelloni; the dish looked a bit empty, and I felt hungry afterwards followed by icecream scoops - chocolate and coconut...again just delicious. In all a pleasant evening and we'll definitely go there again.
