Sadly my one star is a reflection on how magnet handled an online consultation or should I say their lack of handling. They cancelled my appointment 15 mins before it was due and had the nerve to say I cancelled it. I didn't hear off them again and being in the market for a kitchen, I'll try somewhere else. It's clear service isn't up their list of priorities
Would give zero stars if possible. Please as a warning to others DO NOT buy your kitchen from here. I wish I’d have known. I put through an order for my elderly parents in March, delivery was set for April… we still don’t have a complete kitchen, in fact we’ve given up hope of ever receiving one and requested a refund for the worktop that still hasn’t happened. We are still waiting for that refund after 3 weeks of trying. The design process was terrible, if you’ve never designed a kitchen before then don’t expect to be helped. We had to ask and persevere for what we wanted because all magnet are interested in is giving you a pretty computer render. It then took several attempts to get a correct quote, which even then turned out to be wrong later down the line. Trying to make payment was even more difficult, the assistant didn’t know how much we had to pay and only figured out how much in the end through me prompting them to check their own policies to find out. They initially refused to give me a contract before forking out over £10k. None of the painted doors or panels turned up on delivery day. We have yet to receive a plinth and pelmet even after our builder has had to drive there several times because nobody has ever communicated when anything is in their warehouse because you are expected to be a mind reader. Forget trying to ring and speak to anyone. We have spent countless days trying and failing to get anybody to pick up the phone. Initially, like other reviewers Sabina seemed helpful, this was short lived and now instead of help all we face is blame thrown back at us, lies and misdirection. We’ve completely given up contacting the branch and thought we’d get further with customer services and the regional manager. How wrong we seem to be. My parents have had no available kitchen facilities since March. They are in their seventies and cannot fight this fight, please if this helps anyone else vulnerable, go elsewhere, DO NOT give these people your hard earned money.
Was booked to have a design consultation here but they sent a cancellation email only 10 minutes before we were meant to start. Wouldn’t answer the phone and gave no explanation
Do not buy your kitchen from Magnets Slough. We were consistently given incorrect information about pricing, lead times, site measures and delivery dates from Addy. We've had to constantly chase up emails and rarely have our calls been returned. It was such such a stressful ordering process. Eventually items arrived that we did not order, we had to collect bits ourselves from other stores, we received damaged worktops and we still do not have a completed kitchen. Sabria was initially helpful but then disappeared and now we've been left feeling like a hot potato no one wants to deal with. All we're asking for are the remaining parts to a kitchen we paid for weeks ago.

7My Kitchen was fitted in June last year. It took 4 weeks to finish. to go without kitchen for that long was very frustrating. The sink was installed and on the same day I remarked that it had a mark on it. Photos were taken and they said they would contact the supplier. I'm still waiting for a replacement. There is so much wrong with my kitchen and I have been trying since june to get them to come and sort it. I had a gentlemen out finally in January last year, who went back to and said "HE WAS NOT IMPRESSED. somebody was supposed to have been coming today to start the repairs, I have phoned the branch to find out what is happening to be told on one here. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.... THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO PRIDE IN THEIR WORK. I WILL FIND SOME WHERE TO SHOW PICTURES wouldn't let me give 0 stars and I'm still waiting, supposed to have someone else coming to take a look.. wonder how long that will take.. the total lack of communication makes the whole situation worse. Someone came out 8/3 but unable to do repairs as it needs the worktops to come out, which would mean damaging the tiles. Needs some one to authorise the purchase of new tiles. It's now 22/3 still waiting for someone to contact me. I have a garage full of worktops and beading but no date as to when I might finally get the kitchen I thought I was getting back in June last year. I phoned yet again to be asked to supply proof of purchase for tiles and cost of fitting. If they think they're just gonna give me back the cost and not make good they can think again. None of this is my fault
Non existing customer service. After an appointment with Onkar, he promised to get back within a week but never did. Then I started chasing for weeks, ringing and emailing to see what's going on. Zero response. Eventually I could reach him on the phone after two weeks of trying and he said 'I will get back by tomorrow'. Again, no response. Nothing. I emailed the Slough Branch so it's not like only he would have seen the email. This was a waste of time and this branch is definitely not one you would want to use. I am glad I didn't get past the ordering stage!
Went into the showroom. Booked an appointment for a home survey. No show, no contact. Rubbish.
Delay of delivery by 23 days
