I went in the branch today to ask about my Lamona oven blew out and caught fire inside But internal fuse save the fire spread . The front desk new staff give me a number to call Lamona and address the issue to them. I ask if it's possible to have a word with the manager just in case he has got some suggestions to fix the issue soon as. Manager was sitting just across the store and was talking to a lady colleague, I was standing while they start discussing. To my astonishment when the new front desk colleague told the manager Mr. Amarjit what has happened, he replied " What is he Customer doing here , he should call an electrician". The lady colleague laughed hysterically upon that rude answer. I heard that answer and just walked out of store. Thankyou Mr. Amarjit for a great service. I will certainly spread the word around.
I have been recently in this branch and my experience was very good. I needed a spare part for a corner cabinet and was assisted by the branch manager. I got the required piece the following week. I would definitely consider them for future upgrades/renovations.
Ami, Kuldip, Jas, H and Kanye have been fantastic for me and my family when designing our dream kitchen. Thank you guys for your input and patience! Any small issue is speedily rectified the next day with 0 fuss. A pleasure doing business with the team at Slough and I will be back in the future. Highly recommended.
Service was horrible. Initially all was going well, spent a lot of time on kitchen design and layout. However as soon as the order had been paid for the staff are rude and hold no accountability. I was told by the Manager they are 'trade' and not retail... Since when can trade companies get away with not being professional and having shocking levels of customer service. Staff are rude, even the manager was not willing to listen or help. I would not recommend Howdens to anyone!!! Howden's staff advised it was 'unfortune' the unit did not fit correctly - no it was not unfortune, it was a lack of communication from Howdens. Completely ruined my kitchen! Money wasted!! An awful branch! I had to chase for someone to reply, and then the manager said I should of called/emailed straight away however I did email, but I received a pointless response, pretty much saying 'oh well' - Avoid this branch, they are only interesting in taking your money, all about their sales and their commission!! I do not want to waste any more time trying to resolve my issue with the branch. Money wasted!!! Calls should be recorded so that staff are held accountable and then can not go back on what's been said.
They issue different quotes for traders and normal customers and difference on certain items are about 90%. I was quoted for a standard door for 156 plus VAT. Same door to my builders account for 75 plus VAT where builder was making commission. I got that door on my friends account for 25 plus VAT. Ridiculous
Rude and aggressive staff. They are harassing me to buy stuff with unwanted sales calls. When I first bought from them, I said I don't want to receive any sales calls or junk mail. They assured me they wouldn't call. Then they started calling and sending junk mail. I called to remind them. They said ok, we will take you out of the list, but they still kept calling. Yesterday they called again and when I explained that I never wanted these calls and called to opt out before, the guy on the phone said "Well it was fine when you got the free gift while opening the account, bring it back if you don't want us to call you" ?????? I never wanted a promotional gift from this company, I don't even remember what it was. The company gives a promotional gift for opening an account. Then harasses you to buy more stuff. When you want to opt out, they say the most preposterous thing I have ever heard " bring it back to stop the calls" Can the owner, or the area manager please look into the aggression levels of the Slough branch please. Why lose customers by treating them this way?
Monique at the Slough branch was so helpful when designing my kitchen and incredible patient through multiple design changes. Delivery was on time with no missing pieces. The kitchen has been in for a few months now and seems to be sturdy and good quality. I would recommend.
I have a trade account with this guys for years ,but never been treat so bad like in this branch . They really mess about my complete order and ask for more money because one of theyr sales guy done a huge mistake. Even 1 star is to much . DON'T USE THIS BRANCH !!!
Superb customer service from start to finish! Raj did a great job on design, and the team delivered... on time and on budget. Thanks so much to all involved.
One of the worst management here in this slough store. laminate flooring I bought from them had joint issue and they refused for refund despite of boxes were sealed pack..Manager was rude.My whole experience was with them awful.
