Maddie and Mark's Shoes is an independent childrens' shoe shop based in Edinburgh. We have two shops in Edinburgh in Blackhall and Bruntsfield. We offer a wide range of continental shoes for girls and boys. Our range of brands include Startrite, Geox, Ricosta, Ecco, Crocs and Lelli Kelly. The shops are open 7 days a week, 9.30 to 5.30 every day except Sunday which is 11 to 5.

Always buy my sons school shoes here and they (almost) always last a full year. Both my sons have very wide feet and we always manage to get shoes to fit. This year, one of my sons shoes were really hurting his feet so I took them back to the store. The girl rechecked the sizing which was fine, but the style of shoe wasn't great for his feet. They changed to a different style with no problems and the shoes are great. Fabulous service. The shoes are expensive (around £65 a pair), but as I said, they last a full school year which is cost effective.

The staff here are fantastic. They spent a lot of time getting the right fit shoes for my daughter which is great. Also the shop is amazing for toddlers to be in. Thank you

It is a bit more expensive than the likes of Clarks but the service is so much better. Friendly, organised, efficient and the best bit that I really like is they bring selection of shoes in my son's size rather than getting you to choose, disappearing off for a bit then coming back to say they don't have those ones.

Been using for over a year since my child's first shoes and live it..always get what I ask for and my daughter has a high instep as well as a wide fit and we always find something suitable in store as they have so many differnt ranges. Lovely friendly staff which helps when ur child is running riot. Wee play house to keep them amused also great wee shop
