This famous bakery in Portree had a queue ahead of its opening.nnThe aroma of freshly baked bread greeted me as I stepped inside. I tried their donut, scone, and sausage rolls, and each one was a delightful experience. The donut was fluffy and light, while the cherry and coconut scone was perfectly balanced and tasted the ingredients. The sausage roll was savoury yet not too salty.nnAnd each of the bake is reasonably priced
We randomly stopped in here on a cold snow day and were really pleased with the baked goods. We tried two doughnuts and both were delicious - so good that we ended up coming back two days later for more. We'd definitely recommend for a sweet treat!
The bakery has a plenty of different choices.nThe woman who attend us was very polite and suggested all some nice sweets tupically from Portree.nThe best place for breakfast!
Nice little bakeshop located in the center of Portree with a lot of options like scones, tarts, cakes, brownies, cookies, and hot pastries. I got a cherry & coconut scone and fruit scone and enjoyed them both. The apple turnover had nice flakey pastry but I think it could have used more apple filling. My dining companion also enjoyed the biscoff bar and some of the warm savoury pastries as well.
Very fortunate the bakery was very near my hostel. The best donuts I’ve tasted!!! They were pillowy soft with just right amount of sweetness. I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! I wish I could eat this everyday!! I went exactly when they opened so I didn’t experience any queue at all!nnThe apple-turnover was very good too!
