Needed emergency appointment and then another one the next day. The care and attention by Steph the Greek Optician was absolutely first class even contacting Inverness hospital and making notes available for the follow up appointment when returning home. I do not take this for granted. I am very grateful.
Sent as an emergency after surgery on my eye in Raigmore went horribly wrong, 2 days earlier,The staff could not have been more helpful and my examination was very thorough, mrs Macdonald told me what was happening to my eye and arrangements were made for me to be sent back through to Raigmore. urgently..I had never been to this optician before and yet I was treat so nicely, and would highly recommend them . I certainly will be using there service in future. I would like to thank them all for their help,and support. Also for being so frank and not keeping anything from me, so very much appreciated, thankyou so much, Linda Jackson Waterstein
Son had his appointment in May, chose his glasses and we were told we should get a call to pick them up within a week. Phoned again in June, no glasses. Phoned again today, promised a call back that didnt happen. Called again, no glasses and told to go back in to choose some more to get ordered?? Absolutely useless. The staff obviously need more support and are not coping with demand. The communication has been abysmal. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else.
Absoutlouty fantastic service. Visited sky for holiday and unfortunately lost my glasses in the fairy pools. Needed an emergency pair of glasses sorting and they managed to sort it out on the same day. Hazel was absolutely fantastic and saved our holiday. Nothing was too much for her and did it all with a great big smile on her face. Thank you hazel !!
I have been going to this Opticians now for many years-the staff are professional people who are friendly and welcoming- a fabulous service that has saved me from travelling to Inverness where the service wasnt always great.We have come a long way from Cobbs :. Highly recommend using this opticians- they lack nothing.Thanks to Janet, Jenny and Karen and a wee mention to Hazel too.

Staff are extremely friendly & helpful to ensure you choose correct style of glasses. A little more expensive but worth the price. Delivery quick. Eye test was extensive.
Looking for a local, professional, friendly and dependable optician then JM Macdonald of Portree is the answer. Craig is a real master of his craft and talks you through everything you need to know about your eyes. I would gladly recommend this great local service. You may pay a wee bit more for your glasses, but at the end of the day, its worth every penny to support our great local professionals and to see more clearly. I wish I hadn't gone to Specsavers ..
Excellent service. On holiday and needed a repair to my glasses. Dealt with straightaway. One very happy customer.
