Mixed experiences. Different prices depending on who's behind the counter. Food is ok, but small plates mean small portions. My plate was half full of beans, hence small portion of chips. Order off set menu, or you'll get charged differently, like i did. Cafe is spotlessly clean. Some staff are friendly, others aren't.

Had the worst experience here. Went there in the morning to have breakfast. When I just finished my coffee a man came and told me to pay though there were a few vacant tables. He looked very skeptical until he checked with his colleagues. Wonder if they treat other local customers like that? Felt like I just encountered another racism and it ruined my morning. I won't go back there. NEVER!

Great food and a great price only downside is how cramped the cafe feels with the tables other than that though was absolutely lovely

The breakfast was ok, but other cafes are better, if you want a slice of toast then you have to pay for it as an extra, in my experience a breakfast comes with toast

Great 'proper cafe' well worth stopping if you are in Brighton and want a quality breakfast. Clean and bright with two hard working ladies there this morning. Was very busy , so not fast, but we'll worth the wait .
