Is MaBo closed? Went sat 29th Aug 20 at 6pm, looked like been closed for a while. So disappointed! Website says open. Hope this isn’t an end of era!
I love the Ma Bo! Housed in Georgian China town, the decor hasn't changed for decades. The food is superb home cooking style, generous portions and inexpensive. We took some champagne and had a really fun dinner. This place is a landmark restaurant in Liverpool.
Went here last night and have to say I loved the food, absolutely delicious
Very nice staff and friendly staff and good food. Wait was a little longer than I would have liked but they made up for it with very large portions. Would definitely go again
Absolute classic of a place, part of Liverpools Chinese history
Great place, a basic workers cafe with a wide Northern China menu. I can recommend the wantons and the ho fun noodles and the near perfect alt and pepper squid. Be nice to Ma and she will look after you.
Fresh tasty food in a traditional styled Georgian house, looks a bit tired from the outside and inside but don’t let that put you off
