I was in today no checkout open only self service which was unmanned. I made a mistake on the self service and nobody came so I ended up moving onto another self service checkout. I phoned to complain and spoke to Shona who admitted this was not acceptable. Very poor customer service and I have higher standards from marks and spencer.

Very helpful staff. Amazing variety of fresh food and veg. Store is spotless.

The staff are rude I’m disgusted with this m&s poor door signs so We didn’t realise which door to enter through. Went in the wrong one by mistake and a member of staff started pushing my trolly into me to push me backwards to go back through the door which was apparently the wrong door to enter, all because I did not hear her. in my experience if someone doesn’t hear you, politely say it louder or come gentle tap on the shoulder not barging the trolley into someone to force them backwards!! This as well as the poor food selection especially the vegetarian isle, which is a couple of small shelves. Will not be going there again and will be putting in a complaint. Shame to have wasted such a nice big new space in fort William
