This shop is in a lovely location, has a beautiful exterior and inside is arranged in a museum style. It is well packed with curiosities, furniture and history. The only problem I had was the hostility in the air, the owner watched our every move and didn't greet us or say anything which I found strange. Nonetheless it is a lovely shop with beautiful antiques in a gorgeous seaside town.

A wonderful treasure trove of antiques particularly kitchenalia. We really enjoyed our visit. The owner was very helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. We purchased two antique Staffordshire chickens, Hovis tins and more and are delighted with our purchases. We look forward to our next visit.

Dear Ms Pinder, sorry if I seemed hostile when you visited my shop, I can assure you I did not mean to make you feel uncomfortable. Unfortunately, at the moment I am undergoing chemotherapy, and am suffering what is commonly known as Chemo brain, which makes the mind wander and the sufferer seam vague.I do hope this does not deter any future visit you may make to our establishment. We had a wonderful experience visiting this shop twice in our search for the perfect Welsh dresser for our old farmhouse in Harlech. Trish was super knowledgable and had some extremely fine examples of Deudarn, Tridarn and the early Llanwrust canopy dresser. We learned so much from her and Merv and this made us confident when we did find the right one, we were just sorry it was not from this great shop! If we could have had the Tridarn and the dresser I would have had their Tridarn it's magnificent! Thanks so much again and we will be back soon I'm sure. Really highly recommended!

I really do not know why the previous review was written other than the fact I refused to sell this person one of my collection of early violins. the problem with some people seems to be if you know more than them, they have to write bad reviews about you,(something we have learnt in the past 35 years in the trade) We would not be rude enough to tell people the amount this person offered for a victorian violin byW.E. Hill of London, but i am pretty sure if he offered that amount to other dealers, they would be a lot ruder. Non rude violin "experts" are most welcome in our shop.
