Every one of the 18 greens have been carefully re-contoured to meet USGA specification. Around them, links-style, false bunkering is positioned on multiple approach shots. This high standard is also evident in the fact that off the championship tees, three of the course’s four par-3 holes all stand at over 200 yards in length, while two of the par-4s measure almost 500 yards."

Lutterlestown is a superb course. The course is long and challenging but fair. The greens can be tricky but were in such good condition that you always have a chance. I would definitely recommend a round here. Clubhouse facilities excellent.
Absolutely fantastic Sunday lunch, every course everyone had was delicious. The service and surroundings were outstanding and good value for money. I would highly recommend Rugged Lane and we will be returning.
A cracking parkland golf course and a beautiful club house with great food.‍‍new restaurant open upstairs in the club house called Rugged Lane. Well worth a visit the food is excellent, it’s a set menu €59 pp does not include wine. That was just before Christmas 2022.

Really friendly staff, but not much thought put into the course the twelfth hole is an absolute mess, nice surroundings , the last 4 holes feel like they have been dropped into any park in Dublin.
We got married at the Clubhouse in 2020. How do I even begin to put into words how truly fantastic this venue is?! We booked the two function rooms which are on the first floor, and basically had the entire floor to ourselves, which includes a bar in the middle, and a huge balcony around it with stunning views. The location feels like you're deep in the countryside, but in reality you're a taxi ride from home if you live in Dublin. The food was absolutely delicious. Friends have said it's the best food they've ever had at a wedding - wedding aside, the food was unbeatable. We have gone there for dinner again since then, just because it was so tasty! The staff are completely wonderful. We literally felt like royalty throughout the whole process of planning, and on the day itself. There were times I would be chatting to friends, and I'd turn around and one of the satff would be fixing the train of my dress for me without me even realising. That level of personal care was so kind, and above and beyond. They take such pride in what they offer, and I can't thank them enough for a perfect day. We know friends have looked at this venue for themselves since. It is really a beautiful spot, you will be so looked after, 100% worth a visit of you are considering it as a venue for you. This is the only venue we actually went to see because we fell in love with it straight away!
Long term customers for yesrs. This was our go to place. Had a meal for 11 this Sunday. Very dissappointing. Such a spectacular venue, shame to see service drop even further and food was mediocre at best. Poor value. Hopefully will improve again.
Very nice setting on the balcony overlooking the course. Not a great selection if you are avoiding red meat. The fish and chip was lovely though. Very attentive staff and very welcoming.
Great golf course nice staff great food great day out.
