Fantastic location with a very friendly welcoming atmosphere. We visit every time we are near Newquay and it’s helped us make some beautiful memories. My favourite lunch time meal is the Caesar salad! Ps. Take the steps with the smile and a “Rocky boxing move” at the end haha.

This is a review of the Lusty Glaze cafe. If you're wondering about the beach, it's excellent - 5/5. We (2 adults, 1 5yo) visited in August for both lunch and dinner (bookings) and had varied experiences since our last visit in 2013. Both times we visited the buffet was on (I think they do this when busy or in peak season) For the first visit at a lunch time, we were called beforehand informed the food was a buffet. When we arrived we were seated and the food was ready. The service from a lovely person who was leaving to go traveling was excellent. The buffet was good - hot and cold options and plenty of variation and enabled our 5yo to eat quite happily. For our second visit for early dinner (a 5pm booking) we expected a menu service but it was the buffet again. Unfortunately the food was not ready until 5.40 and service this time was not as good. The buffet food wasn't as good either and didn't have many options that most younger children would eat (in my opinion). Still, it's a nice place to eat with a lovely layout and vibe and great views of the beach. Maybe a little expensive - £20/head for buffet at dinner, £17.50 at lunch - I'd rate it at -£5 off those prices.

I’m lucky to have such a great restaurant local to where I live, location, atmosphere and staff consistently fantastic. For this review though I wanted to celebrate the food.. Yesterday I had the Seafood Linguine for lunch, when I asked for a slight adaptation of fish used there was no quibble, resulting a flavor bursting dish full of fresh local produce. Thanks again to the team at Lusty Glaze.

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent had the Salt n pepper Squid and the seafood trio....stunning. Thanks to Crystal and staff for an outstanding evening for my wife's birthday. Wilson will be back soon !!!
