We had a lovely evening, we were sat watching the waves whilst eating our meal! The guy who we are assuming is the owner was brilliant. My elderly (although I wouldn't say that to her face) mother had some great banter with him. He was also very knowledgeable about spices and their benefits! Food-FAB! Will definitely visit again next time in Cornwall 👍👍👍👍👍

Excellent Indian restaurant. A wide selection of food on the menu. I used to live in Newquay bit occasionally come back to see family and nice to see this place hasn't changed much. Same owner, same great food and they I'll cater for all your needs. As me and my wife are Vegan we were offered coconut cream instead of dairy cream, which tasted absolutely fantastic. Helpful staff on hand and great atmosphere. Book to avoid disappointment on busy nights like Friday and Saturday.

Wonderful welcome even though we'd not booked. Lucky to get in as several birthday celebrations going on tonight. Food was varied and served on hot plates with attentive staff. Always a pleasure to dine st the Maharajah.

I travel to Newquay on business quite frequently and I will always go to Maharajah for dinner at least once during my stay. I'm a a big fan of Indian food, especially some of the hot and spicy dishes. Maharajah provides excellent food and service, which will never leave anyone disappointed. I'm a big fan of the butter chicken when trying to stay mild. For dessert I'm a sucker for the coconut ice cream. If you are ever so lucky to have the owner pull up a chair at your table, get ready for some funny stories and maybe a shot of liqueur. Always a pleasant experience is to be had at Maharajah.

Great staff. Great restaurant. Amazing food. Perfect place to go for a great meal. Very happy to recommend.
