Service was great and food was really lovely. Very nice authentic decorations throughout the whole place. Would give this place 5 stars if they didn't have loud dance music coming from smoking area at the front where they had a birthday party. They did have Arab music in the restaurant which was nice but it was too quiet compare to the music coming from the front. Definitely eat here again and highly recommend.

Not Allergy Friendly! Beware, people. Our evening started out so well. Lovely restaurant, amazing food, excellent service. What could we possibly have to complain about? Well, the staff could not do enough for us...that is, until it came to the dessert. We were offered a free sample of an Egyptian dessert. When, however, my husband and I enquired as to whether there were any peanuts in it, as I'm allergic, the staff did not seem to understand our query, explaining that there was only a tiny amout in the dish. We then proceded to explain the seriousness of my peanut allergy and could they please give the dish to someone else, instead but we would still like to see the dessert menu. That's when the staff seemed to abandon us! Suddenly, they did not want to know. We just asked for the bill and left. It was such a disappointing end to what was a lovely evening and therefore we'll not be returning. It just goes to show, even in this day and age, that not all restaurants are allergy friendly. Sad, really!
utterly rubbish food. only go there if you want food poisoning. worst service an individual can ever imagined. ordered a takeaway asked how long waiter replied 10/15 minutes. then he sat next to us in dining area starts to smoke. after 45 minutes we have asked him again he again said 10/15 minutes. it would have been make sense if they were busy they literally had not even a single customer. when we have asked him why is the late let alone appology he replied don't worry food will come, as if I haven't paid for it rather he is giving charity. food was stale. Highly recommend not to go there. completelly waste of money and time.
10% off if you takeaway said on the menu, but if you are only local no where mentioned this on the menu. Wanted to know more why it is only for locals not for tourist, and based on what they will judge someone is local or tourist; had very angry responses from the staffs. It was shocking, as where-ever we have been around this area people were very nice. If you are traveller/tourist this place will rip you off, so avoid it as much as possible. Went there only for halal food but, I would rather have something vegetarian from other shops than going into this place if I only knew.
Low rating for various reasons. Service was appalling. Food was not authentic, more like a bland curry. Had to ask for chillie sauce several times as there was hardly any seasoning in the kebabs. Children dislike the chicken nuggets but seemed ok with spaghetti bolognese. Overall it was rubbish. Never again.
Great food, great service and a very lovely setting! If I ever travel the 8 hour drive back to Newquay I'll be sure to re visit. Thank you to the waiter for keeping our 5 children happy
The worse restaurant I have ever visited my life. Stuff was smoking seating next to us in dining area which was so disrespectful!! 10% discount were written on Leaflet for all take away but we didn't didn't receive it just because we were not from local which I found worse kinda discrimination to anyone! Can't recommend !!
Ordered soup and falafel, had to ask for water from 4 different people before it arrived. The soups which are mostly pre cooked never arrived until 45 mins, we were told a minute every time.
Beautiful food and brilliant service. Very chilled atmosphere. Will definitely be returning.
